WellKeeper is a real-time data analysis system for geological monitoring and MudLogging services. During well drilling operations. The platform allows users to access, view, and analyze data captured during the drilling process. By integrating various geological and operational data points in real-time, WellKeeper enhances decision-making efficiency, allowing for faster adjustments during drilling to ensure safety and optimize well performance. The system caters to professionals in the energy sector, such as geologists, engineers, and drilling operators, who rely on accurate, timely information to monitor well conditions and operations.
Redesign Process
I participated in the redesign of WellKeeper, where the main goal was to enhance usability and streamline data presentation to meet the needs of users more effectively. The redesign focused on improving the user interface and refining data visualization to make complex geological data more digestible. This process was driven by iterative collaboration between our design team, stakeholders, and developers, ensuring that all parties were aligned throughout the project.
One of the key challenges was to maintain the high technical complexity of the system while improving the user experience for professionals with varying levels of technical expertise.
Throughout the redesign, we worked with developers to ensure that design specifications were feasible and aligned with the system’s technical constraints. Additionally, regular feedback loops with stakeholders allowed us to refine the product vision continuously and ensure that our solutions met the operational requirements of the industry.
